Okay, I need some advice. John and I have talked about this a bit. I had cataract surgery and now my vision is 20/30 & 2050 (a sight bit better than 20/300+). I need glasses for distance sharpness and will therefore need prescription sun glasses. What to buy, they are so expensive. If I understand correctly, only Solar Bat places their polarized component IN the glass, the rest on the surface which eventually leads to pealing.
SO, any suggestions from personal experience?

I looked at the cost of prescription sunglasses and decided to go with contacts instead. Much cheaper when you consider how many sunglasses I break or lose. Have a brand new pair of oakleys (freebies) that broke the 1st time I wore them, must be my big head.

I have not worn glasses since the mid 1970s but I must admit I really like not having to put contacts in and out every day and I don't have to worry about pollen seasons. It used to kill my eyes!
