The 392 is a great boat I have rode in several the only draw back is most had Johnson Motors on them and this was before the bankruptcy and OMC selling of the company so check on the availability of parts

hey bill the boat is real clean but it does have a johnson 200 venom motor on it. the motor looks clean and checks out alright i just dont know anything about johnson motors, but the boat itself is super clean, probaly go ahead and buy the boat and then get a mercury or yamaha motor later. how have you and nanda been.

The Venom was a good motor just use sea foam in the gas to keep the carbon down that was one of it's main issues that and it can suck gas down like a camel and water after a 7 day desert crossing
Nanda and I are Ok just need to hit the lake time to get away has been hard to come by this year

If your worried about deposits etc check out Amsoil Synthetic, this stuff is super for everything and have a blend and or mix for each type of outboard. I've been running it for a couple years and WOW! what a major difference!!

Yes I'm sponsored by Amsoil, but , here is a link you can go to...you too John, or whoever hasn't heard about this oil. Anywho" I don't sell" I just promote and here is a link for marine engines, gadgets, whether outboard or home stuff and automotive or just whatever. Hopefully I haven't crossed any boundries here John, Bill, if so let me know and either you or I will delete without hesitation. youtube.com/watchH?v=H3x19-aLf7YHopefully I have this link right, if not just go to the Amsoil site in my siggy and surf outboard engines. Hope this helps Bud. I'll log in later.......to see if I get a coffee in the morning or not...ever
