Yes we were fishing off the boat docks in Walden Marina and around the rocks at the south Walden ramp. My boats in the shop. My wife probably caught 15 or 20 fish Saturday night. 2 and 3 lbs

No Ed I haven't been up North. I have had trouble with my boat. Been fishing off the bank. I heard they have been doing some spraying though and they have signs posted saying not to eat the fish. I don't know this first hand, I was told by the manager @ our Condo's.

Well Ed I picked my boat up Friday and ran it 15 minutes and we did some night fishing. The fish did not feed Friday night. I went for a ride in Scott Hills new Stratos and about 8:30 am he had caught a few fish on a wacky worm and Spinnerbait. My wife had caught 5 fish when we passed her. Brian Penso stayed out all night (nothing caught at night) and said he had an awesome morning throwing toads on the rip rap. When Scott dropped me off I drove around to the boat ramp where the wife moved to and the boat wouldn't restart. So I took it back to the dealer for a starter. I thought the starting problem was related to the piston siezing up but it must be the starter.

I didn't fish last weekend. I spent my time running the lake and breaking in the new power head. So I started looking for grass. Look like most of the grass has been sprayed and is dying. You can still find good pockets of it though up north. I got stopped by the lake patrol for overtaking a headway vessel at less than 100 feet. Texas law says you may not overtake a vessel at less than 50 feet. On Lake Conroe it is 100 feet (Guess it doesn't apply to jet ski's). I asked the Constable about the grass and he said "They are spraying it as fast as they can"

No Joel when the deal fell through with Gary I decided to keep my boat until the fall when the 06's come out. I basically have a new engine now. Yamaha put a brand new lower unit on it and a rebuilt powerhead including reeds and injectors and a starter. So I only have 90 minutes on the motor right now.
