Well, here goes....
We had practiced 2 weekends, and had a pretty decent deeper bite going. We (me and my partner Joel) had been catching pretty easy limits and fish up to 5lbs... Friday afternoon we went out and i stuck one @ 4.5lbs... Saturday morning (T Day) we had a limit about 8:00am... then went hunting a kicker... we culled a couple of times but could not seem to get a big bite.. we ended up with 11.03lbs.
The deeper bite had been coming on senkos, jigs, and c-rigs, but saturday was overcast and a little misty, all our fish came shallower... i had heard the guys that won were throwing toads all day, but we could not seem to get bit on them... oh well, maybe at t-bend...

i dont know, they havent posted the results yet, if i had to guess i would say in the 40's or 50's ...
i guess it is just my luck that the one day of the tournament, it gets cloudy and a little cooler.... i think if it would have been hot and sunny i would have done a little better...

That was quite unexpected, and certainly not appreciated.....
I'm tired of getting my tail kicked on Rayburn by guys throwing toads all day long....you'd think I'd learn my lesson....
