What is the secret to catching bass on the lower end of Rayburn? Where is all the hydrilla? Thanks, Mike.

Last time I was at Rayburn in May there wasn't much grass at all. Just scattered patches under the water. Most of us fished the Johnson grass with is that hay looking stuff. Some fish also came out of pepper grass and lily pads

there is grass down there, but not necessarily where it used to be.... the lake is down to normal pool so alot of the shorline stuff we fished earlier in the year is a little shallow now... your best bet is to look for pads and/or pepper grass and while driving around watch your graph for hydrilla... most of the backs of the creeks have grass in them, buck has alot, the right arm (i forget the name but it goes up towards mill creek) has alot of grass and pads in the back...
