looking to see what yall think,
I think mine are horny toad and the Sumo (i think thats the name)...
on another note, i bought one at BPS the other day, its a XPS brand, it looked really cool, had two curly tail legs and the double hooks hooked over the back of the frog instead of coming up on the sides.... i thought it would make for fewer missed fish etc... well... Sunday i have my new frog tied on, at rayburn, i am getting ready to make my first cast and i dip it in the water to take a look.... and it sank like a rock !??!!?!? i threw it a couple of times, but i had trouble keeping it near the surface.... POS.... i cut it off and tied on a horny toad... Has anyone else tried these?? what am i doing wrong??

I also prefer the Ribbit. Guys Ed is letting some of his secrets out. You have to read his posts very carefully

Some of those baits were given out at the Rally Ed. I may try them out this weekend. I think Chad has been tearing them up on the popping frog they have. Plans are to fish Rayburn for fun Friday, Saturday and Sunday this week. Staying at Shirley Creek

John,
I use to stay at Shirley Creek, is it really in danger of closing down?

I am not sure what the status of Shirley Creek Marina is. We knew the old owners really well. We have stayed thier in the past year and haven't heard anything about it closeing. Brian and I fished in their during the rally and they looked busy. I was going to go this weekend but it was a bad week my father inlaw passed away and a few other problems

ribbitz w/ sizimic close second w/ the popping toad at 3erd.... one word....wham!!!
sizimic makes a high floater...it doesn't sink.... so, make sure you pull it in fast...and don't let it sit too long...lol
