DD22s will hit 15 feet on ten pound line. Rapala DT16s will hit 16.
Have you ever thought of throwing a Shad Rap on a carolina rig when going deeper than that?
Give it a try

i usually throw a DD22 or deep little N, i have tried throwing a c-rig with a shallow running crank on it, but never had any luck and it was hard to cast....
usually anything 20' or more i am throwing a c-rig, jig or tx rig.... i have bee known to jig a spoon too...

I have Carolina Rigged (CR) a Poes series 400 series and RC2, both worked well with a CR, but it wears me out!
