Anybody using these worms? I went fishing this morning and by 9:00 am I had caught 16 small fish and then I put on a U-vibe worm (watermelon red) for the first time and in less than 30 min I caught 6 fish over 3 pounds and 2 over 4 pounds. Might have been location or time I don't know but I am impressed! Bad thing about today is the big one got away, again!!

I was fishing outside of the Sabine refuge in the canals and caught all of the big fish in a 50 yard stretch on some old pilings and did not re- tie and when the big one bit my line broke.

I have lost my share of good fish for failing to retie that is a real dissapointment.
I have lost jig fish for not setting the hook enough, sometimes we just can't win.
I just wish I couldn't see how big it was before it got off.

Robertp , how are you fishing the ultra vibe worm?
I have heard of people using it like a buzz bait (horny toad) and swiming them under the surface... what were you doing?

I was fishing it on a 1/16 oz weight pitching it up against the pilings letting it fall to the bottom. The big one that broke off hit it while I was reeling it in to make another cast. I did get to see the one that broke off and it has grown several pounds in my mind by now but I know it was over 5 pounds and probably bigger. I bet they would be good worked like a buzzbait. The tail has allot of action.
