just joined here today, kick some shots out for my skeeta', i have an o4 zx225 w/225hpdi and love it. wish it was a little faster 72mph gps loaded with one person.

i was told by a factory rep. at skeeter that our boats with 12"jackplates need to be set at just to where your pinky finger will fit under the slide, hope this helps

John is correct. While no two boats, engines, or props are the same, that is a good place to start on setting your jackplate. Just a 1/4" adjustment on a Skeeter will make a huge difference.
