Thats funny Bill! I think they may be a little out of my price range. I wondered why Skeeter would be calling me @ 9pm last night saying to call Darrens cell phone it was important. Man I would love to have one of the boats. Hot diggity dog. I thought I was in trouble or something when I got the message

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Skeeter Boats Unleashes the i-Class via Internet, Click www.skeetericlass.com. Inspiration, Innovation, Integrity, Intelligent…in our world of firsts, it is only fitting that we call our newest first in boat design the i-Class. KILGORE, Texas – Skeeter Boats, the leader in bass boat innovation since 1948, is preparing for its biggest boat launch in more than a decade with a philosophy of “it’s not just about building boats”. That’s right; the all new i-Class family of boats is about anglers who seek the highest standard in everything they do. The build philosophy on the i-Class project began with the same inspiration that gave Holmes Thurmond, the founder of Skeeter Boats, the insight to build a faster more stable fishing platform over 57 years ago. Little did Thurmond know that this many years later, steps just as inspiring would take place. Based on the functionality, ergonomics, and technology built into the i-Class boats, the Skeeter team has determined the best way to introduce the most technologically advanced boat of our time, with so many breakthrough features and design elements, is via the Internet at www.skeetericlass.com. “The Skeeter i-Class means many things. It means protecting the past, preserving it, but most importantly moving it forward with relevant technology that enhances the owners’ experience,” said Darrin Bryan, director of marketing for Skeeter Boats. “Thus, we decided to launch this to the masses via the Internet, combining performance and technology. The marketing group felt that a boat as inventive as the i-Class deserved a little more imagination in bringing it to their customers.” The production and distribution plan for the i-Class family of boats is aggressive, with two boats, the 20i and the 21i, beginning production on September 1st. “Their big brother the 22i should arrive in January 2006,” notes Bryan. “There will be some pent-up demand, we realize that. The expectations are that the number of interested consumers submitting i-Class Catalog Requests online will be quite large.” For more information and where to buy, click on www.skeetericlass.com, or contact your local authorized Skeeter Dealer.

Oh Yeah! them 250 motors are great if money is no object or the cost of gas. But when you really start comparing speed gain, fuel economy and true benefits, the increased costs don't justify the marginal gains in performance and loss of mpg. When a 200ZX will do 68 to 70 setup and propped right with HPDI, it costs how much so a guy can go a few mph faster at wide open throttle with a 250? The economy trend is 36v 101+ trolling motor and top of the line Electronics with GPS. Might not look quite as cool but it will sure fish great. One more addition upgrade to the Best airation system going that you can find including using Bass Medic. It amazes me how many pros lately have lost big time due to dead fish. The catching is hard enough sometimes but having them die in live well always costs.

mtbass: great to see another Tomballer on this board. I guess it takes me a while to find out where eveyone is located. I live down on the south edge on Spring Cypress but have a Tomball address. Are you in town proper. Send me a PM to let me know more about yourself, maybe we can share a cup of joe sometimes. George
