Earl Bentz sold Triton Boats to Brunswick Corp. Good or bad?

If Brunswick let's it's bean counter loose then it will be bad.
If they keep Bentz on with the resources available, then it will be good.
Was it Brunswick and AMF together in the late 60's to early 70's when AMF almost killed Harley Davidson?
If so, I hope they learned a lesson, or Triton is doomed.

I'm leery of these big corp buy outs as they tend to destroy the personal touches that made the brand what it is today. I agree if Earl is left to do his thing and send the money to Brunswick maybe it won't be too bad. Unfortunately, I have never seen this work enough to believe it will happen. Looks like I might be in a Ranger after all even though Triton has been a good sponsor to Fishers of Men National Trail since the beginning.
