:oHigh oil useage and high gas bill. Had it at 76 once but that was enough. Excellent trim. Sweet machine combo. My dealer says only Mercs now that Brunswick runs the show. Earl said all the right things in his press release but it won't happen.

Here it is!!! www.bassfan.com/news_article.asp?ID=1389Notable > He's a Triton pro, and his FLW AOY win comes with $25,000 and a new Ranger boat. "That Ranger will sell good, and I always have places to use the $25,000," he said. A more sobering note is he's also a Yamaha pro, and with Brunswick's recent purchase of Triton, it's expected he'll have to switch either boat or engine sponsors next season. No doubt he'll be a hot commodity at the upcoming Bassmaster Classic and Forrest L. Wood Championship. This was taken from that article!!! See above.

speculation....sure he's a hot item....who wouldn't want him...i'm sure merc will go after him, it would be obsured if they didn't.
he may be the one that keeps different motors on triton for awhile at least. lol
it doesn't matter he'll be able to get whoever he wants, i figure...
i don't know how ranger let him slip out at his peak???

My dealer told me "No problem getting Yamaha on Triton". They are not going to lose sales by demanding Merc's on Triton's.
