I got some of those Horny Toads , Mine sink , aint they supposed to float ? They will sink if you let them sit, however give them a quick twitch and they come right to the top! And those little legs give great action to the bait! Makes for a great top water! Or rig them with a Mr. Blitz wieghted peli lock hook. So they can be fished both ways! Shane ;D

I equat fishing these frogs and toads to buzzbait fishing. I use a 7 foot rod and keep the tip high. I start reeling my frogs and buzzbaits just before they hit the water. This keeps them on top. Or they will stay on top if you throw them over the slop and grass. I use a Daiichi Bleeding Bait 5/0 Wide Gap Hook and put a bead in front of the hook. Some people glue the nose of the bait to the hook.

they sink... like john said fish it like a buzz bait... i have heard of people fishing them on a c-rig and flipping them.. but i have not tried them this way... FYI all the other KNock offs will sink too... so dont waste alot of money looking for one that floats... wait a minute.. i thin V&M makes one that floats but that is the only one i know of...
