Howdy Gang, Well i bit the bullet and bought a Eagle 2000c and should get it this week. I was looking at Lowrance 332c and the guy at BPS said they had a few problems with the last batch of them.My question is after i get it installed, how do you import gps way points into it ?? I have a buddy up in Lufkin says he has alot of good gps waypoint hot spots That i can have, Do i need one of them mmx readers to get it on my chip ?? I bought one of the the Navonics South maps. Yall bear with me, cause i know nothing about this High Tech stuff..smiling.. I know you can be going on the water and save an waypoint and mark it, but i was wondering if i had a latitude and longitude could i put it on the chip here at the house ?? I would like to hear your commints... Thanks in advance

Welcome Allan. To transfer data from your buddys unit to yours. You will need an blank MMC cartridge and you will not need a MMC reader. Put your blank MMC Cartridge in your buddys Lowrance unit and save all his data to your cartridge. Then put the cartridge in your unit and upload it. It takes about 2 minutes. I will post more later on it. If you want to put Lon/Lat in at the house you should probably buy the Mapcreate kit with the MMC Cartridge, Card reader and software. This is an easy way to put information from maps and friends onto your unit while using your desktop or laptop PC
