I got my New Daiwa Fuegos right before the Texas Rally and they are awesome! I am in love with this reel. Small and light and smooth. I also have a new TDAHST which is a very nice reel for the money. I haven't spooled up my Sol's yet.

The Fuego and Sol are awesome reels, but the Team Daiwa "Z's" are even more awesome!

I would like to get a TDZ when I have some extra money. Have you tried a Fuego Phil? Is the TDZ worth the extra $100? and did you get all TDZ's?

I have had this reel for a year or so now so now. First off this is one of the best Daiwa U.S. reels I have ever seen. The finish on this reel is awesome and the mechanical part of the reels is just as good if not better. I put it on my Kistler Helium prototype rod and the whole combo weighs right at 10 ounces. I know that may sound heavy but a normal combo weighs at least 12 ounces if not more then that. It cast like a dream and the drag is great too when you get those bigger fish on that like to fight. I can throw a weight less Tiki Stick a mile and with it paired up with my Kistler Helium you can feel every thing that is on the bottom of the lake and it is one of the best combos out on the market right now in my opinion.
