My tach on my Stratos has quit working. What can I do to see if it's really bad. Is there a test or something I can do to check this?? If it's bad where would be a good place to get a new one. Thanks

My Teleflex tach died, so I bought a new one over the web.
I later found out that the tach has several positions on the back, just select another setting and it should work again.
I thought the settings were # of cylinder specific. I will see if I can find the reference again.

Dave
The best check would be plug in a test tach & see if it works. I have one for an OMC with system check. Shoot me an IM if you would like to borrow it via the mail. Tach works fine but the system check part throws random false alarms so it is a test only tach.
